Strictly Pancakes
Their menu is more of a build your own menu type. There are different types of toppings and butters. So one could go either sweet or savoury. They serve sandwiches and finger food as well.
I ordered a Chocolate Oero Milkshake and it was good ! I loved the fact that it was more like a thickshake where you got to really work that jaw and suck to get the drink moving up the straw. Hah ! Very creamy, chocolatey and filled with cookie crumbs. This drink is dessert enough.

I ordered 2 pancakes with garlic buttered prawns and asked for extra sauce. I love it when my food swims in sauce. Service was decent. It wasn't quick but wasn't too slow either. The dish came with a side of rocket and tomatoes.
As I dug in - I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet and salty play that was happening on my plate. The sauce was buttery and garlicky. The prawns were plump and juicy. Not the mushy kind. Thumbs up to that. And I poured maple syrup all over it - much to J's horror and perhaps disgust. But hey - I like it.
The pancakes were light and fluffy though not very tall. Some American pancakes can get really tall. These ones were more flat but still good.

Mind you this dish can get cloying for some. The table next to us ordered the buttered garlic prawn pancakes as well. But she could only manage to finish half. Not sure if she was watching her weight or couldn't handle the sauce. I'm pretty sure she was wondering how I polished off my plate plus a side of extra sauce and maple syrup.
J had a simple fare. She ordered 2 pancakes with a side of chipolata sausages, scrambled eggs and maple syrup. Forgot to snap a picture.
